There is a phenomenon that can occur during Mediumship that may surprise you. A spirit (living or passed over) can blend or merge themselves into the Medium in order for the Medium to live the spirit’s experience. Blending is a way a spirit can relay information clearly, succinctly and with immediacy. I kid you not!
Recently a client reached out to Spirit for guidance on how to best support his aging father. The client would be visiting his father soon and hoped to receive insights into anything of importance needing attention during his visit. With love as the key, the spirit of the client’s father blended with me allowing me to convey some important information.
During my initial interaction my eyesight changed in an unusual way. I wrote:
“There is a whitish, yellowish light in my vision that commands my attention in a gentle way. This light trails from one side of my view to the other as I turn my head side to side. My vision appears somewhat blurry, somewhat ‘out of focus’. An opaque, creamy chicken soup sort of vibe. The message being, ‘I’m not seeing clearly.’
‘Not seeing clearly’ could be metaphorical. Or it could be that visually, your father is having problems. I am given the idea that this is a concern for your father about himself, but he does not like to say, “My vision is compromised.” I get the sense that he would like you to help him be OK with this truth. Would it make sense to say that your father has cataracts that need attention? Can you book a vision test and go with him during your visit?”
Shortly after arriving on his visit, my client writes:
“Catherine, thanks for this helpful information. My father does in fact have clouded vision and has an appointment with an ophthalmology specialist tomorrow.”
When we reach out with a pure heart to support the highest good of all, we are heard. On a soul level, my clients father comprehends this truth and is therefore willing to share what he needs. In his conscious physical Being, he will not be aware, but his soul gives permission for the information to be shared simply because, love conquers all!
