Recap of the previous story

With subtle persistence, a spirit who repeatedly appears as I drive to work past Wilkinson Jail succeeds in capturing my curiosity.

As I set out to research, with what little information he gives me, (appearance, personality, means of demise), I discover an article in the local newspaper, The Times Colonist, that describes the spirit to a ‘T.’

The spirit’s name is Robert Suttie.

Astonished to discover the identity of the spirit and curious to understand why he asks for my attention, I reach out to the spirit Robert Suttie directly.

Robert’s swift and exceptionally detailed response shocks and puzzles me.

Please keep the following in mind.
The woman in the vision Robert describes next is safe, happy, and living in spirit, surrounded by love and light. She no longer experiences distress on any level. The imagery provides us with information only.

The following vision contains a short description of domestic abuse that took place over 100 years ago. Though brief, the details may be disturbing to some. Should you choose, offer compassion and abounding love while separating yourself from the emotion of the spirit’s story.

A young woman with long, wavy, light-coloured hair appears in my vision space as offered to me by Robert Suttie. The young woman is dressed in a long gown. I know this young woman would have her hair tied neatly in a bun had she been out in public. I can see that she stands in a hallway. With her hair loose and flowing, I determine she is in her home.

The young woman is pressed against the wall in an uncomfortable stance that indicates she is protecting herself. Her body is turned toward the wall, one hand at the level of her ribs; a second cushions the space between her face and the wall next to her head. It is clear she has been struck in the face, and turns away from her assailant, protecting herself while preparing for another blow.

The spirit of Robert Suttie expresses a wave of protective energy toward the young woman. I am unclear how they are related.

Robert explains they are not kin, but at the same time, within the heart of this story is someone Robert knows and loves. If this young woman is not his mother or sister, she reminds him most fervently of both.

Suddenly, I feel a pull at my heart that brings me across my country of Canada — perhaps beyond to the United Kingdom. He was Scottish, after all.

How can I explain to you, reader? My essence is being drawn across Canada toward the East. It is as though I skim across the entire continent at lightning speed, watching as the landscape races past below me. Do I arrive in Ontario?

Could the young woman or someone related to her live at a distance from where I am in Victoria?

Extraordinary.

The vision is complete. I adjust my energy back to our common reality while a multitude of questions spring to mind.

If, as Robert insists, the young woman is not a relative, could she be significant to Richard Hargreaves, the man Robert is said to have murdered? Does Robert’s passion to protect the young woman have anything to do with his imprisonment?

Compelled to learn more, I turn again to my computer with the following questions at my fingertips:

  1. What happened on the day Robert Suttie was charged with murder?
  2. Who is the young woman in my vision?
  3. How does her story fit in with Robert’s past?

There is more to this story than meets the eye!

I am determined to continue my research to find the answers to my questions and perhaps put his spirit to rest.
