Spirit hears you when you grieve.
When you reach out to the Universe for support, you are heard and offered the greatest love. Spirit will reach out to you in a personal way that only you might understand where no one else could make sense of what is revealed. This is true, whether you are in a place to recognize it or not. We all have the potential to let this love in, it is a matter of focused intention to listen for the signs, and there are plenty, always. Sometimes, though, we are not in a place to recognize those signs of love, simply because we are in the process of trying to make sense of our grief.
“Little Willow” is a story I have permission to share with you as an illustration of the truth that the Universe holds us with gentle hands as we walk along our journey. An extraordinary story of love.
I hope you find peace in this spirits story.
Little Willow . . .
Spirit,
What can you tell me about that tree?
It’s a symbol of mourning
Of grief
But…
Can’t you see?
There are fairies
Who catch each teardrop
They carry them in the palm of their hands
Close to their hearts
Not a single drop
Touched the earth
You don’t know…
But I know
Each tear that fell
Was filled with the most beautiful music
Each,
Part of a symphony of love
Held out
For the world to hear
Silence?
There was no silence
There were trumpets
And angels
Harps and bells
Birds singing
Stars and …
Yes, Spirit? Stars?
Banners
And flags
Carpets rolled out
A celebration
Of the grandest proportion
Didn’t you hear it?
No…
I can see that now…
For in our sorrow
Our senses focus so much
On that which we perceive has been lost
That all the magnificence
Can be hidden from our view
That’s why the fairies work with such diligence
So that nothing is lost
And when you are ready
They are waiting there for you
To release the joy of your knowing
So that you too, might see
The glory of what you created
In honour
Of the one you love
Lift up your eyes
And search within the branches
Can you see them there?
Allow the truth of their existence
To nestle in your heart
In that space
Where the willow’s reflection fills you
There
That’s where you’ll find the one you love
Blue
Fairy Sprite
Looking at you
From within her branches
She’s watching you still ~
With love ~

I am a ‘Listener’. I open my heart to the Universe and offer myself as one who will bear witness to the stories of others to the Highest Good of All, in such a way that I become the vessel through which spirit shares the love waiting to be shared with an individual.
When PG and I connected through this site I glanced at her Fb page and came across this extraordinary picture of her tree. I was immediately filled with an expansive joy, so much so that I felt quite teary eyed, and so I commented on this to PG. I also said, rather shyly, that I could sense fairies in the tree.
Fairies, pshaw, you might say to yourself, but this story wasn’t about whether you, reader, believe in fairies or not, this was about that sign, that I referred to, that would make sense to PG. The idea of fairies brings great joy to PG. She feels a connection to their energy: I was simple able to witness, or recognize her truth as a visual/energetic knowing.
PG and I were equally overjoyed with the message spirit shared regarding her special tree. We agreed that the love in this message may be much bigger than the two of us so want to share with you, the exceptional love that PG created, without knowing, in the grief she felt over a loss. These were the words Spirit shared, through my passion of automatic writing, as an expression of love from the Universe, for my new friend.
With love and gratitude,
Catherine ~
PS As aside: PG did not mention the fairies to me until after she received this message and I inquired with her directly about it. I commented that I sensed something blue, a fairy, it seemed to me, who was draped in a deep blue colour and it was looking out between the branches with this colour in quite a distinct fashion. It was then that PG sent a second picture to me. That of a piece of driftwood she found on the beach a few years ago. She brought it home for her little willow, because for PG, this driftwood represented a fairy door – which she painted the deepest blue. Thank you, Spirit, for insisting that the signs of love be seen, in this way.

I loved reading this. I’d like to share that In memory of my nephew who tragically died April 28th 2015, I planted a weeping willow in his memory April 28th 2016. I call my weeping willow, St Stephen. I know Steve is with me always, I have a fairy garden surrounding the area. I also have a cast iron sign that says, Don’t piss off the faeries. Magical moments happen having fairies surrounding us. Fireflies appear in front of our eyes, frogs sitting on angle wings, just to mention a few. Thanks for sharing your post. It is most meaningful. Love is eternal.
Oh, Darlene! I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute to your nephew, in the willow tree. Yes, please do share the message in memory of Steven. How extraordinary that you felt the fairies and built a garden for them near the tree. Wonderful listening! <3 With love, Catherine ~
