Last night, Spirit popped in during meditation to asked if I might be interested in an update on a man I did an extensive soul-to-soul communication with over ten years ago. I was delighted and accepted the invitation.
The gentleman in question lives thousands of miles away in the Netherlands. We have never been in touch on the Earthly plane. Ergo, I don’t get updates. This invitation by the grace of Spirit is an utter surprise. I accept, recognizing ultimate permission has come from the soul self of the gentleman himself.
Kee is a man who lives with tremendous anxiety. As such, he has lived in a small room in an assisted living facility for most of his life. His parents live an hour’s drive away.
When we met in 2013, ‘Kee’ (a name given to me by Spirit) made it perfectly clear that under no circumstances was I to step into his private room. We sat on the floor outside his door to chat where I learned his ability to communicate was equal or better than mine. He spoke to me directly demanding to know who I was. What made this new to me at the time, was that Kee was a living spirit, speaking to me in the now as opposed to a spirit in the afterlife communicating across time.
Yesterday, through my practice of automatic writing (channeling) Spirit explained that Kee had recently moved to a larger apartment within the security of familiar surroundings. To move would have taken Kee tremendous courage. I was both awed and uplifted by the idea. Spirit then asked me to reach out to Kee’s Mother Maria, to verify this news.
This morning, a note from Maria arrived.
“Dear Catherine,
You are amazing! Actually, last summer he moved within his care facility from one building to another. It was a very big deal for him, but he managed the whole ordeal with great bravery and determination. At the beginning of this year, he moved again, because there was something wrong with his room, to another room in the same building.
After his first big move, he had a period of upliftment, where he asked his Dad to pick him up to spend a week at home with us. He was full of energy and even volunteered to do some work in the garden. We were full of awe.”
If you asked Kee who I am in the physical world he would not knowledge of our connection through Spirit. As far as I know, he is completely unaware of his ability to communicate in this way. How blessed am I to be given this opportunity to witness what is possible in our human existence?
What makes this communication especially heartwarming is the truth that in sharing an update about his personal life, via Spirit, and Spirit’s encouragement to contact his Mother, I have learned that Maria needs some spiritual support. She would never ask me for this for herself. It is as though the expansive love Kee has for his Mother, has him reach out to me on a soul level so that I might see Maria is in need, then by Maria’s invitation reach out to Spirit on her behalf.
I know myself truly blessed to offer Spirits’ boundless love in this way.
