I can hear someone knocking
You can feel it, too
If you listen
What do you think is being said?
I can tell you one thing
It’s worth listening to…
We can honour ourselves in all ways
By listening to our heart
And letting that which makes our heart sing
Be an attunement
To the Highest Power
If our choices bring sorrow
To ourselves, or those we love
Then isn’t it worth a moment
To understand deeper
All the consequences of our actions?
These days,
We can use all the love we can get
Let that be your truth
Putting ourselves first
Shouldn’t come at the expense
Of those we love
It cannot be our hearts desire
To cause pain and suffering….
In which case,
We must always tread
Softly
Go with love
Ask for guidance
Accept the love that is offered
To the Highest Good of all
And if we find that fear
Has interfered with our Highest Calling
Then we must reach out to God,
Most humbly
And ask for forgiveness
For isn’t this the truth
That fear is a manifestation
Of our own forgetfulness
That God loves us deeply
First and foremost
And would guide us only
In the way of love
If we could just listen
To all the love that is offered to us
Open your heart
And let love in
Let go of the boundaries
Let go of the separation
You so vehemently conjure
In the name of love
As isn’t this diametrically opposed
To God’s notion of
Oneness?
Open your arms
Open your heart
And let love in
And let the beauty inherent in its touch
Fill you to overflowing
In all that you are
Hold your life together
With a glue that binds
All aspects of your life
With the light of God
Weave each piece
Into a blanket of love
Which warms all those
You connect with
Without fear
I ask of you only
That you listen to loves calling
And no matter how challenging
Reach always to achieve
That which emulates
The Highest One
Of love, Light and Wisdom
