Attend to me this evening
The world is opening to brighter days!
Come with me
And let me share this story. . .
Between the milkweeds
And bright summer stars
We find a multitude of unseen entities
Each more beautiful than the last
And yet,
Humble all the same
We count each one
Until the numbers,
So tangled in our minds,
Fall away into nothingness
As to be labeled in such mundane fashion
What of their brilliance?
What of the colours?
Darting
Dancing
Fairy wings and
Burst of colour
Set into motion
As though fireworks explode
Before our very eyes
In miniature fashion
Twizzlers and
Spirals
Jet streams and
Arched explosions
We can see them all if we care to!
The unbelievers wouldn’t conjure the magnificence
Even in their wildest dreams!
Describe it to them ~
(Should they ask)
But remember to keep a sparkle in your eyes
To offer comfort
That you’re only joking
Why deprive them of their need to be right?
Our hearts can sing just as joyfully
In the knowing
Fairies dance freely
Within the realm of possibility
The same as you and I
No different
No less miraculous
Than the human tradition of showing up
In the earthly plane
They exist
Quite simply
To keep their eyes on us
At a distance
(Not unlike the spirit world)
Parallel
Within shouting distance
Let them dance before your eyes
As often as they like
Then be content to know
They’re watching
At joyful
If somewhat fleeting intervals
Wish them well
And they will dance for you
Be one with that idea
Till you meet again
