Had some fun at the dentist today. 🙂
A visit to the dentist is always exciting. Today, while I relaxed and closed my eyes, the most magnificent parrot appeared in my vision space. At first it was eating a stick with seeds on it. Later it held a mango in its claw just like the one in this photo and let me know, “Mango is my favourite.”
I asked my hygienist if anyone she knew there had a parrot. She couldn’t think of anyone at work but explained, “Back home my aunt had a parrot that she kept on my father’s farm. I used to play with it when I was little. They were free to come and go.” A little later she said, “funny you should say mango. There were many, many mango trees everywhere there; and it is mango season right now.”
Thank you beautiful parrot, for showing yourself today and helping my hygienist remember happy times at home.
