The message below is an example of the depth of communication possible when a solid connection with the spirit world is made.
The fellow who received this extraordinary message from his father described the agony he had been experiencing in being able to sense his father was near, but not being able to hear him.
Over the course of several days, I coached this young man to open his heart, create a light filled opening between himself and his father, and meditate with me in order to forge a connection. The father in spirit initial held a closed stance but over the week he began to soften, especially when his son reached out through me, letting his father know that he trusted me to listen well to all he had to say.
After hearing from his son. The father in spirit shared the following detailed information. He told me:
- what he did for a living while on earth, with numerous specific tools used for his craft,
- outlined aspects of the extended family business
- shared his love of coffee from a beautiful copper pot like the image above
- allowed me to experience physical sensations to describe his illness
- And much more.
He then passed along these words for his beloved son.
“I can hear you calling me, son,
I am right here with you
It is taking you longer to adjust
Than it is me
But I want you to trust
I am here
I am right here
I see you, son
With such pride in my heart
You are a hard worker
You never shirk your responsibilities
You have always been
The source of endless pride in me
What is it now
That has you hold back?
Reach out to me
And believe in yourself
We have much worked left to do
You and I,
Our journey together
Is far from over
Capture that which you love
In the palms of your hands
Cradle them with love
Hold them close to your heart
Let your heart
That has always been bigger than life itself
Expand beyond the boundaries of life on earth
To include me here
Be good
My son
Let’s start today
To find each other again”

Part of my work included time spent to encourage this young man in his own abilities to communicate with his father directly. The techniques outlined worked so well I noticed years later he advertised his skill with great pride. I often wondered why it was, with such a seeming all around success in our communication, that he chose not to pay me for the reading. Haha
I am sharing this from several years ago not with any sort of bitterness but with appreciation. In this man’s decision not to value the three days I spent with him sharing my ability to communicate with his father in his time of great loss and helping him to develop the ability to connect himself with the man he so greatly admired; I learned to request payment before giving of my time. We all have things to learn. He learned he is a medium. I learned self-respect.
