I love when my brother comes to visit!
Our loved ones in spirit do their best to let us know they are keeping an eye on us. My brother Jamie comes to me through the animal spirits. This month has been a goldmine!
I have always found the cedar waxwing to be the most exquisite bird: their champagne colouring in particular. Sadly, I had never seen one, until something mysterious came my way. During a class in mediumship, my brother Jamie appeared multiple times in readings! My classmates repeatedly mentioned Jamie would come to me as a bird. Then, rare birds started showing up at my home including a baby waxwing. That baby gently bumped the window and landed on my deck. I was able to cradle it in my hands which brought me to tears of gratitude to Jamie.
This week, a Cedar waxwing landed in the oak tree ourside my window! It’s been 2 years, so noteworthy! I took this as a ‘hello’ from Jamie.
Jamie also appears as a stinkbug. Get it? To ‘bug’ his sister? Jamie chooses a ‘cedar bug’. We had a private joke about this particular bug. I had never seen them on the coast in my life, so when one showed up in my house, over and over, I took this as a sign from Jamie.
This week, the CUTEST wee bug showed up. A one inch long, oak bush cricket! I have never seen one of these before. My heart just melts at its size and colour. As soon as I saw it I thought of Jamie, then said to him, “Is this you? If so, send me a sign so I know for sure!”
Yesterday, another bird that I attribute to Jamie flew in. A beautiful Stellar’s Jay (‘J’ for Jamie). Although common, they rarely appear in my neighbourhood. When a jay popped onto my bird feeder, got my attention then flew away I knew!
That’s Jamie saying, “Yup. I sent that bug!”
As an aside, Jamie had a career as a forester. Interesting that the critters I feel are messengers for him have tree names attached to them. Is that purposeful, or coincidence?
