There are many truths
Many, yes,
But the most important
Is the one that comes from the heart
If I was to take a moment
To describe the truth to you
You would still be obliged
To listen to your own heart
Before listening to mine
This is a matter of the utmost importance
It isn’t enough to believe
With endless devotion
One must think for oneself
Otherwise,
We are nothing but puppets
This is a truth I offer to you
With the greatest love
For isn’t it just so easy
To disengage our gut
And let others do our thinking for us?
I for one
Prefer those who question all
To those with thoughtless devotion
Take heart!
There is always room for doubt
Without challenge
We are nothing but figments
Of an active imagination
Ask for proof!
Demand it!
Say what it is you want
And we will provide that for you
Within the boundaries of possibility
There are plenty of ways we can show we exist….
